{"id":907,"date":"2013-06-19T13:35:57","date_gmt":"2013-06-19T12:35:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/parosparadise.com\/CzechMates\/?p=907"},"modified":"2013-07-30T13:21:58","modified_gmt":"2013-07-30T12:21:58","slug":"mezicas-indie-film-wants-you","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/parosparadise.com\/CzechMates\/2013\/06\/19\/mezicas-indie-film-wants-you\/","title":{"rendered":"Mezicas:  Indie film wants you"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I love the hospitality business; I wouldn&#8217;t trade it for anything. \u00a0Yet another business that I have brushed against that promises to be a lot of fun is the &#8220;movies&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>I just learned of an opportunity for me&#8211;and for you&#8211; to participate in the production of a local indie film here in Prague. \u00a0Best of all it features my favourite coffee culture location: \u00a0cafe&#8217; Louvre!<\/p>\n<p>While time travel movies don&#8217;t rate high in my book this talented production company looks capable of pulling off this farcical romp through the timeless city of Prague. \u00a0Currently&#8211;through 31 July, 2013&#8211;they are seeking crowd funding for about half of their production budget. \u00a0I am having difficulty deciding how much to pledge: \u00a0$10 for a toe in the water, $450 to be an extra in the film or somewhere in-between.<\/p>\n<p><del>Their crowd funding site has all the background and details plus a lot of photos. \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.indiegogo.com\/projects\/mezicas-break-in-time?c=home\">http:\/\/www.indiegogo.com\/projects\/mezicas-break-in-time?c=home<\/a><\/del><\/p>\n<p>See update below.<\/p>\n<p>This video dialog is same as crowd funding page but includes scenes of Prague and Cafe&#8217; Louvre<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/r-sokIV72n0?rel=0\" height=\"315\" width=\"560\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Come on, let&#8217;s have some fun in the movie business!<\/p>\n<p>Update: \u00a0The Indiegogo project expired before reaching the goal so the group re-penciled their budget and established a similar program on their own&#8211;<span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>including a share of any profits for all participants<\/strong><\/span>. \u00a0I kept my finger in the pie with the Photo Credit-Soundtrack package. \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/mezicas-film.blogspot.cz\/\" target=\"_blank\">Get the latest on their blog.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I love the hospitality business; I wouldn&#8217;t trade it for anything. \u00a0Yet another business that I have brushed against that promises to be a lot of fun is the &#8220;movies&#8221;.
